April the 4th and the sun surfaced into the sky around 6am as the Pacific Dawn heads towards our first port of call -Noumea.
Today is also special as its Easter Sunday. The Food and Beverage team have created several displays around the ship and many featuring hand crafted Easter Eggs with many ornate designs. It was an ideal moment for passengers to photograph the many designs displayed in various locations around the ship.

Not forgetting the meaning of Easter we held two services on board the Pacific Dawn which was an opportunity for the passengers and the ships company to celebrate the religous occassion.
The Pacific Dawn gracefully docked in her birth at around 8am to scorching temperatures and a beautiful display of local people dancing and singing on the quay side.

“I noticed the local supermarket was busy with passengers and crew buying Easter novelties.”
Many passengers spent their day on tours with the most popular being “Amedee Island Marine Reserve” before re-joining the ship later in the day
Other activities throughout the day catered for the children, which included decorating eggs, making Easter hats and finally parading them.
The Pacific Dawn left Noumea to a beautiful Sunset which was admired by many people on the open decks whilst the younger passengers were on an Easter hunt around the ship for prizes. A fun day was had by all!
