An update from the Pacific Dawn

by Simon Troman on October 19, 2009 · View Comments

Hi everybody,

It’s Simon, Pacific Dawn’s Hotel Director here with the latest onboard news.

We’re on our way back to Sydney after a technical fault.  We fixed the problem early Sunday and left Noumea about 6am.

We’re sailing at maximum available speed and are expected to arrive in Sydney at around 8pm on Tuesday, with disembarkation from around 9pm.

For passengers who are sailing on the next cruise, unfortunately your embarkation has been delayed one day, to 12.30pm Wednesday. We have tried to contact everyone about the delay, and we will have a team at the port on Tuesday to provide further assistance.

As our next passengers will be missing a night and the first port of call (Luganville), a refund of a night’s fare will be credited to their onboard account.

We are very sorry to all our passengers for the inconvenience caused by the delay. I am confident you will have a great holiday and the crew onboard Pacific Dawn is looking forward to serving you.

See you soon!

This boat the pacific Dawn is always running late it was when we were getting on to.

  • Graham

we are booked on the 15/11we are flying up on that day , if you have we have a delayed embarkation on that day will p&o pay for my accommodation while we Wat to board?’

  • Janelle

It’s a shame it’s running late and yeah it’s a little frustrating since you are already packed a ready but hey cars break down to so it’s life and so be it. I know we will have the most amazing time when we board tomorrow as the service is top notch. Cheers seeya tomorrow!

  • http://PacificDawnblog Kay

Yes it will continue to get worse until they put her in dry dock in may next year. She needs a good overhaul now instead of sticking bandaids on it to keep her going. We are on the Jewel next year. I hope it does not follow suit as I will be looking at a cruise company who can deliver a cruise schedule that is on time. We started our cruise 6 hours late in Sept. lost staying time in two ports and got back to Sydney late at an expense of new airfares after loosing our fares home.

  • http://PacificDawnblog Kay

Hi Graham, we flew down to Sydney on the 7th Sept. for a two night stay before the ship arrived on the 9th. However we got a phone call on the 4th saying the ship would not arrive until 1.00pm on the 9th due to a technical problem with one of its engines. P&O said we would be reimbursed for out of pocket expenses. We could not delay our travel plans to Sydney as these were prebooked 9 months ahead, however we booked another day at the unit we were staying at as we had two young children with us and were not going to sit out on the street for 8 hours. We were reimbursed for the extra day. You need to keep all receipts for this and they put it back onto your cruise card. I hope this does not happen to you, but there is a possibility it may as the problems are getting worse.

  • Bev Clout

We travelled on the Dawn over Easter for 10 nights and had a wonderul time despite missing some Islands and everything being closed in Noumea due to it being a public holiday. We are passengers on the Dawn tomorrow and despite the delay know we will have a great time again.

  • http://PacificDawnblog Kay

Cars break down and you fix them properly otherwise you trade them in if it continues to happen all the time.

  • sandra

    sandra
I agree with kay i have been on this ship twice thefirst time great 2nd time no hot water for 3 days they need to put her into dry dock now my friends were on that cruise in sept not amused at all hope they get it right with the jewel

  • Janelle

I agree Bev we will have a great time, P&O do a great job especially with the amount of passengers they have on board! See you tomorrow!

  • Narelle

Hi Kay, What do you mean and how do you know the problems are getting worse? We are going in December and I am a touch nervous about hearing this now….like others, hope it will be all okay…when they have made such a big deal of the changeover, one would hope that all is running smoothly.

  • amber

Hey guys, my parents are going on their cruise today they are very exited they have decided to go alone this time so im very cut lol……. we have already been on 7 cruises all the P& O ships Fair Princess, Pacific Sky ,Pacific Sun, Pacific Dawn. IT is the best holiday you will EVER have thats why we keep coming back for more even if things go slightly wrong but thats life we missed an island on the Sun and on the fair princess we had to come back 2 days early but things happen and we still had a lovely time. The crew do an amazing job with the entertainment the foods great and i have no complaints cant wait to sail the Pacific Jewl! x

  • http://PacificDawnblog Kay

Hi Narelle, my parents were on it for 28days in june and the ceilings were leaking then, they lost their last port of call as it limped home with engine problems. We had engine problems as well and the ceiling leaking on most decks, lifts breaking down, it is going downhill. Last year it was great it had no problems. I have done 12 cruises over the years and this is the first time I have experienced trouble. We had part of our ceiling fall in, in the cabin and we had our tender wrap an old piece of rope around its propeller stranding us for 35mins. One of the tenders came loose on our way home and smashed a window on deck 7. Then we arrived back late with out of pocket expenses due to rebooking airfares. I gather you are sailing out of Brisbane, If I were you I would extend your travellers insurance by one day.

  • Peter Saggers

We are coming over from New Zealand to catch the Dawn on Oct 31 to cruise down to Melbourne for the Meibourne Cup. I wonder if they will hold the race up for us if we arrive late. LoL

  • Cheryl Harrison

Hi, just wondering if anyone can tell me how to get hold of a claim form so i can claim back for my flight that i had to rebook?

  • admin

    Hi Cheryl,

The claim form should have been in your cabin the evening before you disembarked. I have asked Customer Relations to email you with the form and it should be with you this afternoon.

If anyone else from the cruise W928 needs a form, please call Customer Relatons on AU 1800 127 384 or NZ 0800 444 740.

    P&O Cruises

  • http://PacificDawnblog Kay

Hi Cheryl, we were on the Sept 9th cruise for 16 days and got back late also. We had to change our flights to and were not given a claim form but were told to write a letter and send a copy of our receipt to P&O to get reimbursed. I did this 3days after we got back and a week later they sent me a reply stating that it would take 20days to process. I am still waiting. Sent it express mail on the 28th sept.

  • Wendy

Wow I am booked on this ship next April …… I was looking forward to it but with all these problems ….. should I just postpone it until after her “fix-up” in May ….. does not sound like a good ship … you all have me scared maybe I should just stay on dry land !!!!!

  • Birgit

Well, hubby said he would never go on a cuise, I talked him into the Melbourne Cup cruise, so I am soooo excited and hope all goes well, because I hope to go on many more.

  • Suzanne

Okay we have been booked on the last Pacific Dawn cruise on 9th Dec for the last 12 months, have been sooooo looking foward to it but i’m a little scared now, they have already knocked of a day of the cruise and changed 2 of our perts twice, am now wondering what else will go wrong???

  • Sharon

I’m booked on the 9th dec as well, I too am now starting to stress a little that things will not go to plan…. it is my kids first trip overseas and was hoping for a smooth run!

  • Brooke

we travelled on the dawn in august this year for 14 nights it was amazing nd we had no dramas at all

  • http://PacificDawnblog Kay

Lucky you. It all started to happen after your trip.

  • Beverly Gillies

My husband and i have sailed away with P&O for the past 30 years, and have never had a serious problem with them. Just this year we sailed on the Pacific Dawn and had a marvelous time onboard. all the ships crew will go out of their way to ensure your holiday is the best, Enjoy your holiday as we sure do BTW we are both Vision impaired and staff treat us so well we are made to feel special

  • paul

we have scrimped and saved for ages for this trip 16/12/09 cant beleive some of the basic mechanical problems i am reading leaking roofs what tha blocked and backed up toilets is this an supposed aussie boat or one carrying sylum seakers. we are taking some family members who have never been anywhere and have all guarenteed them the time of their lives OH MY GOD. fingers crossed

  • http://PacificDawnblog Kay

I hope it is a trouble free cruise for you as it can give a bad impression for first time cruisers. I overheard some on our cruise who said they would never cruise again. Besides all the mishaps you will still have fun. We have booked on the Jewel next year my 13th cruise.

  • Martin

We have heard from people we know who are on the current cruise that everything is working well, the ship is great and they are having a wonderful time. Relax and enjoy your cruise, I’m sure you’ll have a great time. We’ve spent 16 nights on Pacific Dawn and she’s a lovely ship.

  • Rose

Can anyone tell me how i can find FB or Skype or mail from DJ Matt -Pacific Dawn, anyone can help. captain Mr. Box maybe you can help
    Thanks

  • Jen

Hi Kay, where do you stay in Sydney before your cruises?

If mechanical trouble I hope we have an exended cruise. lol.

My next cruise in January 2010 will be my 6th and then December 2010 on Jewel will be 7th cruise. I have quite a few more cruises to catch up to you. I really love cruising. Wish I could go more.

Our family doing two Aussie cruises so we don’t need to get passports for our children. We will see if our kids like cruising then do Islands when our children are older.

I have never been on the same ship twice and am looking for ports I have not been to, there are still alot of islands to see. Champange Bay was my favorite tender port when I went on the Fairstar. I herd they are building a resort on that beach. Would love to go back before this happens.

Like reading all bloggs and Kay you have great information to share with us bloggers.

I expect I will get my tickets any day now for our January Cruise. Can’t wait. Yah Hoo.

So much has changed since my last cruise 2005/2006 NYE on Pacific Sun. Cruising is great, regulars know what to expect but it does change all the time. Can’t wait for lazer, star shows and circus show on Pacific Jewel.

  • Jen

Just do what I did. Go by yourself or maybe take some girlfriends or work mates.
I went by myself and booked a share cabin with 3 strangers. It was the best cruise. My hubby stayed home with our 3 children.
Don’t think P & O do share cruises anymore. Best to go with some friends. There were alot of people who went by themselves.
You could do a Girls week away if you hubby does not want to go anymore.

Hopefully he will enjoy himself and will sail another day.

    Happy cruising.

  • Jen

Cruises are the best, just have another cocktail.

  • http://PacificDawnblog Kay

I stay at Napoleon on Kent which is in walking distance to the terminal. If you are on the 4th floor you can see the ship when it docks. These are 1 bedroom units and I got a deal on the internet for $199 a night for 2 adults and 2 kids as they have a flip out sofa. If you decide to stay here ask for a room that overlooks the cruise ship terminal.

  • chris pilkington

hi am going on maiden voyage on the dawn out of brisbane hope they give the old girl a service before departing an fix the leaking roofs in cabins.

  • Haylee Trusler

I am cruising out of Brisbane on Jan 23 for the 3rd time, and am looking forward to it despite some of your comments.
All of these ships have problems every now and then, but you have to take the good with the bad…and the good definately out weighs the bad. I have met many great people, and have alot of wonderful memories from past cruises. The crew, food , service and entertainment are top notch. No complaints from me.

  • http://PacificDawnblog Kay

The roofs are not leaking in the cabins, they are leaking in the hallways.

  • Bronwyn

We are going on the Pacific Dawn on the 9th of January. Flying from Dunedin NZ on the 8th and booked to fly out the day after the cruise arrives back in Brisbane I am now very concerned with having to pay for flights from home to Australia and then the possibility of losing some of the cruise time that we have saved up for. I hope some of the concerns expressed on the blog are addressed before then by P and O as I have heard the cruises are excellent.

  • Anita

Hi Bronwn, we are flying from Dunedin the day before as well. Are you going direct or via Christchurch. We are taking our 2 teens 14 and 16.

  • Leslie

We leave on the Pacific Dawn on Nov 6, 6 days to go!
    Technical problems with Pacific dawn?
I hope we don’t experience leaking roofs or blocked toilets!

    It is our first cruise!

  • http://PacificDawnblog Kay

Well she arrived back on time this morning. I check the webcam every time it is due back and you will get an idea on how she is cruising.

  • Michael

Why so much negativlty towards a great ship.. The Dawn is actually fairly new by cruise ships standards. Given that she holds over 2000 people over so many cabins and suites, I think these probelms are normal and apply to any hotel in any country. I recently stayed at a hotel where all power went out for 12 hours. Things go wrong and they are fixed by P&O, a complete dry dock is really all about giving the ship a clean, engines and equipment serviced etc and yes fixing major issues. If P&O felt that these issues would impact in any substantial way, then I am sure they would take her offline to make the repairs before embarking on another cruise. Your cruise will be fine so just settle back and enjoy, for those who have had some issues lately……things go wrong what else can i say!!!! reemeber the swine flu thing…now those passengers had things to put up with and yes I am a passenger on the November 29 cruise and I am not in the least bit concerned

  • Jen

Hi Kay, I have looked on the internet at Napoleon on Kent and it looks good. Is it under the western distributor? Is it quiet?
Is it walking distance to cruise terminal?
I will need two rooms as there is six of us & I would like to fly to Sydney a day before our cruise.

  • Jen

Hi Haylee, My family & I are going on the same cruise as you. This will be my 6th cruise but 1st on Pacific Dawn & 1st your choice dining.
Can’t wait. We have also booked on Pacific Jewel for next year as well, so 2 cruises next year. 1st cruise for our children. What state are you from? We are from NSW & driving up to QLD a few days before cruise to do a few theme parks first.
I agree the good far out weigh the bad. Almost every cruise I have been on the Airconditioning breaks down for about 1 hour or so. Just drink pleanty of fluids and maybe take a dip in the pool if to hot.

  • Jen

I’m not concerned either Michael. P & O always purchase ships that are about 20 yo. Look at the built date in the P & O brochure.
Staff & crew take such good care of the ships they work on. Always cleaning and painting constantly.
Passengers can go behind the scenes and have a look at some restricted areas on their cruise ship, to really get an idea of the good work all staff do. Very impressive.
Staff also have to put up with some mistevious behaviour by their guests. Staff really take good care of everyone on board.
Looking forward to not cooking and cleaning for one week. Really can’t wait. Should get our tickets any day now.

  • http://PacificDawnblog Kay

Yes Jen, it is very quiet. I was a bit concerned myself that it maybe noisey but it is not. They must have sound proofed it when they built it. If you google the address on maps you will see how close it is. As I said before request a room that overlooks the cruise ship when it docks and you can see the people coming and going at the terminal. Checking in their bags at the drop off area. I got my deal on the check-in site or you can go to last minute as well. They are a fully equiped unit with stove, microwave, refrigerator etc. A self service laundry down in the basement. we are going to book there for next year again as it is so central to everything. All you have to do is walk down to the bottom of thehill in napoleon street, very short street and cross over on your left into sussex street, walk down to the traffic lights, cross and walk into the cruise terminal. Very handy. Were are you flying from. we are in brisbane and we go down for a two night stay. That way we have a full day the next day sightseeing in sydney and no rush the day the ship sails.

  • Jen

Kay, Flying from Coffs Harbour. We live half way between Sydney & Brisbane. Will fly to Sydney Thursday afternoon. Ship leaves Friday, I will have to check what time cruise leaves Sydney, because on all my previous cruises ship leaves 5pm.
We won’t have much time for sighseeing, but I would like to take our children to the Imax in Darling Harbour. I looked Imax up on their website and they are currently showing Dinosaurs. This would have been fantastic for them, but our cruise from Sydney departs 10/12/2010 on Pacific Jewel. So next year will have to do Christmas shopping very early as we get back from cruise 1 week before christmas. Our kids miss the last week of school next year.
January 2010 Cruise from Brisbane ship departs at 2pm to go to Cairns, Port Douglas etc. So this is a little earlier than I am used to.
These two cruises will be the shortest I have been on. The longest was 4 weeks.

  • http://PacificDawnblog Kay

You sail at 4.00pm, so you will embark at about 12.00pm. If all going well sometimes they may commence from 11.30. When you check in you get a boarding number as this makes boarding much easier.

  • Janelle

Just got back from the cruise on the 21st. I will be perfectly honest and say I never saw one leaking roof or any other problem that has been mentioned. The staff are totally amazing and will look after you no matter what. People need to be realistic and realise that with 2000 passengers nearly every cruise wear and tear is gonna happen, it happens at your home so get over it and just enjoy life. P&O and your crew staff from the Directors thru to the Stewards BRILLIANT!

  • Jen

Kay, Thanks for that departure time. I know things change.
So far our cruise in January the Ship has changed 3 times and the itinnery has changed once so far. Still same port but now they are
all tender ports. Really don’t mind about any of the above just hope
    no cyclones.

  • http://PacificDawnblog Kay

You were lucky as this has been going on since june. did you check each deck as I walked from one side to the other from deck 11 to deck 5 each morning instead of the jogging deck and each one had a leak somewere. Some were never fixed the whole cruise.

  • Tracey

Interesting reading your comments, there are 8 of us going, 4 generations, on the Pacific Dawn on 15/11. It is the first time for all but myself and my last cruise was 26yrs ago so really looking forward to this. Hope all goes well.

  • Janelle

I also did a heap of walking thru out the decks and never saw a bit of water anywhere, so I guess we were extremely lucky then.

  • http://PacificDawnblog Kay

Maybe they have finally fixed everything as we had buckets in different areas and floor fans constantly drying areas each day. Especially around the shop on deck 6. Near the entrance to the showroom on deck 8, and plastic sheets hanging down the wall so the water can run into the bucket. We were on the dawn last year and all was fine. Maybe by putting these things on facebook makes them more aware that people do get concerned and they rectify these problems. Heres hoping so as cruising is the best way to go for a holiday.

  • Bronwyn Bradshaw

Hi Anita my husband and I are flying out from Dunedin at 12.45 pm then to Ch Ch and for the first time holidaying childless!!!!

  • Julie

    Hi Leslie
Yes we too leave on November 6th and like you counting down the days. Its our first cruise with the kids, cant wait.
Whatever the problems I am reading about the ship, who cares, just have another cocktail and have fun…..
    See you on board.

  • Janelle

Sounds like all is fixed, which is great. I must say though one thing I love about P&O is they ask for any kind of feedback pos or neg to help improve and if anything does happen that may stuff up the holiday they tend to do all they can to rectify things. Can’t wait for my next cruise.

  • Helen

hello everyone, I have only just booked on the cruise that leaves DEC 16 just to Brisbane, I originally wanted to go for a 14 day cruise, but my better half has never wanted to go on a cruise, and I had to fight to get just the two days, so finally we have booked a nice room, outside with a balcony, I am hoping so bad that nothing goes wrong, as he is so against cruises that should we have problems he will just say see I told you so, and that will be it for any more cruising, I went on a cruise over 10 years ago and loved it, I want to recapture that fantastic feeling of doing Nothing, so I suppose I will just have to wait and see how it goes and cross my fingers that it will be as wonderful as I remember it, of course things go wrong sometimes, but they are NOT allowed to go wrong on my trip ha ha sorry to those that they do go wrong for. just joking

  • http://PacificDawnblog Kay

I hope all goes well and he enjoys it as it is the only way for a woman to have a holiday with no cooking or cleaning. My daughter always comes with me as her partner will not cruise either.

  • http://- Nick ….

Travelled on Pacific Sun in 2008 and it was really great! The service was brilliant, the shows were magnificent and the food was pretty good too. Even though the ship was a bit old, it still looked pretty good. They did everything possible to make our holiday great. Even when they cancelled one of the ports, they told us. P&O are great at communicating.

Then in June this year we decided to go with Princess Cruises’ Dawn Princess and it was a very beautiful and BIG ship. We were meant to go to New Caledonia, Fiji and Vanuatu (6 ports) and the company did not bother to tell us anything about any cancellations or delays.
The ship arrived at midday instead of 7am and departed at midnight instead of 4pm. They then made crappy excuses to why we were not going to Noumea and instead we went straight to Suva which took around 6 days to gfet there because of weather and stupidity. we went to all of our fijian ports, then Vila and then without informing us detoured away from Lifou (our next port of call) and didn’t tell us till we were well away, again giving us a crappy excuse to why.
We got back to Sydney on time for the other passengers to get on (for the world cruise).

Overall we never saw the ship cross harbour bridge as well as never had a sailaway party and didn’t see the ports that we were most looking forward to.

Next time we’ll make sure its P&O we go on and not Princess Cruises. We’ve heard really good reports about Pacific Dawn and if its anything like Pacific Sun (or even better) then its a good ship!

But the cancellations and delays I must say are beginning to get too frequent and the cruise lines must be urged to pick up there game…

    Nick

  • Jen

Have you herd of that song “six months on a leaky boat” by split ends. lol

  • http://- Nick ….

    Forgot to mention….

the overall service on Dawn Princess, entertainment, cruise directors and communication to their passengers was very disappointing. And they failed to look after the passengers who waited most of the day in the terminal with very little information and very limited expensive food, beverage and seating facilities available. Also delays blamed on weather conditions appeared contrary to information available on the internet which many of the passengers were aware of.

  • Jen

Hi Helen, you should have tried for more days onboard as it takes a few days to get all your bearings and know where things are onboard.
My first cruise was 4 weeks and my family & I are going on 2 7night cruises next year which will be the shortest I have ever been on. 7 nights really is not long enough for me but I had to do the same as you Helen fight just to book one, well two. I have also been on one cruise by myself. Freedom to do what I wanted to do. I did get a little home sick though as my hubby stayed home with our young children and I missed them all – it was a 12 night NYE cruise. Can’t wait till January – tickets should arrive any day now.

  • Jen

I have herd this about Princess Cruises, not as Party Party like P & O Cruises.
Loved the sailaway party’s on Pacifis Sun and lots of special moments onboard.
I thought mayby Princess Cruises were for older people, more mundaine with lots of formality.
Just go with the flow on cruises and have fun. I to have missed ports, although this was years & years ago on CTC cruises. P & O definately are the best ever cruise line.

  • Alex

Hi Kay, I’m confused – because 5 days after you made this comment, you replied to another comment below with “You were lucky as this has been going on since june”… you seem to have made many many comments about bad experiences, yet you say that you have booked 13 cruises and you’re still booked on one next year – if P&O is so dodgy, why wouldn’t you cancel your trip? Perhaps you could raise your concerns directly with P&O and stop making first-time cruisers (like myself) worried and anxious.

  • Alex

Hi Paul, I thought the same thing, but it does really only seem to be one person who is making these comments. I hope you really enjoy your trip – I’m on the Pacific Dawn in Feb next year.

  • Haylee Trusler

    Hi Jen,
We are from Auckland, flying over to Brisbane the day before the cruise. Its my first time on the Dawn too, should be a great trip, this ship looks WAY better than the Star…
Air-con failing…havn’t experienced that problem yet, and hope I don’t!
    See you there

  • Sharon

I’m confused now.. I’m on the Dawn coming back into Sydney on the 17th, how can it be going out on the 16th to Brisbane? or have they swapped ships and not told us? either way i dont really care it will be brilliant… but would be nice to know if it has been changed? :)

  • Sandee

You’re OK Sharon. The PD is leaving Sydney on 17th Dec and coming to Brisbane. Yayyyy!

  • http://PacificDawnblog Kay

My parents were on the dawn in june and it had leaking problems then and technical problems with the engine causing them to loose hours at different ports and not calling into their last port so they would get back to Sydney on time. It looks as if they have fixed all the mishaps and I have taken it up with P&O. If P&O do not get feedback then these problems do not get rectified. Enjoy your cruise, I know you will as it is the only way to holiday.

  • kim

Hi all, going on the dawn for the nye cruise, whats all this about cancellations and not going to all the ports. our last cruise was fantastic on the dawn. I hope they pull their socks up coz i am so looking forward to this holiday

  • kim

dont worry you will all have a ball

  • Deb

We go on the cruise 15/11am looking forward to it. So what if things get cancelled I do not have to cook, clean, do laundry, just be lazy for a change. My husband and me are just going to enjoy ourselves and have a chance to relax away from work and family. What more could a person ask for? My motto, do not expect the best that way you cannot be disappointed and if it is better, than you can really have something to talk about. Go enjoy, relax and make the most of what you are given.

  • http://faq Linda

Am going on the Dawn on 15/11. Have been told that recent cruises you could only book dinner for 5.30pm, 6pm and 8pm. Can anyone clarify this for me?

  • Gavin

Myself and my wife are also first time cruisers and no kids – you beauty. If things go bad at the end of the day I’m sure that they are not that bad and the people you meet and the good times you have far outweigh those small number of negative issues. I’m sure a few drinks and a few laughs is what is remembered. If we think “the glass is half full” then all those negative issues really don’t matter too much.

  • Betty

I am going on the 15/11 and I am going to enjoy myself even if we miss a port or two who cares as long as they feed me I will be happy it is better than being at work the staff are all way great and they work hard to make us enjoy ourselves.

  • paul

there goes the dawn outside the heads my wife and i will be on her on th 15th and looking forward to it so much. Sounds like a great ships and whatever happens we are going to have a great time .See all you guys there

  • Peter Roberts

Just a short note to Kay on all the whinging and whining you have done about the Pacific Dawn in the last few days, if you do not enjoy the ship why go on it. Things do go wrong maybe not in your ideal world but hello this is the real world not Kay ville the perfect world. I have cruised nine times and have gone through mishaps but the positives certainly outweigh the negatives. Keep up the fantastic work P&O

  • Sharon

just on 4 weeks till we get to Cruise!! yippeeee! first time on a P&O Ship, was on Princess previous and loved every minute of the trip!! Kids and i are super excitied! any one else on the 9th Dec Pacific Dawn? my kids are 12 and 15 :) We are coming over from Perth. Can’t Wait to Board and enjoy the sail under the bridge that is the best feeling ever!

    Sharon

  • http://margaretsmee55@hotmail.com Marg

I wish I could say the same, we went on the Pacific Dawn in the October school holidays and saw a river flow through the hallway on Deck 11, passengers had to be relocated, carpet replaced and the whole area dried out for days with very noisy vacuums, not to mention the wet damp smell for the remainig days.

  • http://margaretsmee55@hotmail.com Marg

Yes that’s correct if you eat in the Palm Court fine dining, you can eat anytime in the buffet.

In Kay defence I too cruised on the Pacific Dawn in October and was extremely disappointed, It was my first and last cruise.
I have travelled lots of times overseas and do realise things can go wrong and it’s not a perfect world, but when on the Pacific Dawn I did expect to be able to have a hot shower, a holiday without the stench of foul toilets, and to sit on deck chairs without the bottom falling through, the list could go on and I do wish the negatives outweighed the positives but unfortunately on my cruise there were just too many things go wrong.

  • Sandee

Did someone leave their shower running?

  • Katie

I guess with any holiday you win some you loose some. better to have a leaky shower than getting bombed in your hotel. I guess cruisings not for everyone. just like flying isnt everyones cup of tea etiher. I personally loved cruising. And had the time of my life. now my family is coming with me and Im sure they will have a blast too. Im sorry for all that have had misfortune on there cruises. but you could have misfortune on any holiday you go on that is just the risk you take when you decide to go on a holiday. No use bitching about it just try and take the best away from it. All the negativity makes first time cruisers (like my partner) nervous. Its nice to hear the good points of a cruise because there all about fun and I think that people who dwell on some less than perfect experiences cant make a less than perfect situation into something positive.

  • http://PacificDawnblog Kay

Deck 11 had the same problem in june. Also it had a few leaks in sept, but not as bad as june.

  • http://PacificDawnblog Kay

I am sorry you had a bad impression on cruising Marg as it is a great way to holiday. The Dawn is going through a bad patch with the problems she has and hopefully should be fixed after dry dock next may. I love cruising and could not fault this ship last year when I was on it. It has not deterred me from cruising as we are on the jewel next nov. Number 13 cruise coming up.

  • Michael

Marg, your portrayal of the Dawn is soooooooo negative I feel like I am going to board the SS Titanic or a tramp steamer…please this is just going to far. If your chair fell through then I am sure it was quickly replaced, I have visions with your comments of all the chairs falling through from rot. I am sure your hot shower situation was not for the whole voyage or even for more than one day and I have stayed at a few 5 star hotels in my time where this has happened. I wont even begin to explore the foul toilet smells…too many openings here LOL. I am pretty sure that you could list just as many postives, food, entertainment, warm service??? the list goes on

Your right Marg, I suggest cruising is not a good option for you

  • Michael

Katie…..as a ship enthusiast and a lover of cruising I can list so many good things your partner can expect from their cruise. Negative people are usually that way about a cruise because its their personal view of the cruise and does not usually represent the opions of the vast majority. Usually they have had a couple of things that did not go well and this becomes the focus of their whole cruising experience. I think we have all heard the saying “you cant please everyone” and to be honest I would be amazed if there was not some whinging and whining.

You and your family will have a fantastic time and you will enjoy every minute as you already know. Make the most out of it ……:)

  • Birgit

Just got back yesterday from our Melbourne Cup cruise. Had a ball, departure from Sydney was electrifying sailing under the bridge cocktail in hand. Mind you there were proberly only a dozen kids on board. This was my first cruise had to talk hubby into it, well we are doing the Sydney to Perth next time. There were only a couple of hickups nothing major. My suggestions for a cruise on the Dawn is book early in the morning for dinner in the Palm Court Rest. Check out Karioke an Trivia with Allan, tell him chopsy Birgit said hi and just have fun.

  • Simon Troman

This blog certainly seems to have attracted a lot of attention. For all of those who have had a fantastic cruise thank you for your comments, we do our utmost to ensure that we give you the best holiday that we can , but, as many of you have pointed out out, sometimes things do not go quite to plan. For those of you who have had a negative experience onboard we sincerely apologise, our only aim is to please and we try to rectify any problems as quickly as possible. I look forward to seeing you all again on here or the Pacific Jewel. I must go now as I need to get my formals on for Captain’s Intros.

  • Tracey

Only 7 days till our cruise, everyone is getting so excited. I am looking positive that this will be a holiday of a lifetime and if we do experience any hiccups then I think take it in our stride and make the most of it.
As others have said I am so looking forward to not ding anything no cooking cleaning just being a lady of leisure. I intend to spend lots of time in the gym and then involve ourselves in onboard entertainment to the full extent.
See you all on board real soon.

  • http://PacificDawnblog Kay

Peter I do not live in Kayville world, P&O like to get feedback on any problems that do arise. It is called constructive criticism. There are a lot of dumbells out there who will not come forward and voice their opinion only to their friends. It is people like myself that will get things fixed for the better so the service improves for everyones enjoyment. They do have a comment box at the pursers desk and the forms as this is what they like their passengers to do to give them feedback. The positives do outweigh the negatives as I enjoy cruising. My first was in 1965 my last one sept 09. The next nov 10. Simon troman the hotel director has been reading our blogs and I am pleased that he does as this makes them more aware of how their past passengers feel.

  • jennifer stevo

My family and myself are sailing out on 15th November can’t wait. Our only concern is the problems in Fiji .Will these problems change any of our ports? Can someone from p&o please put our minds at ease and answer our question. Thank you only going on a warning in todays telegraph that has said we need to be very careful when traveling to Fiji at the moment. May be panicking over nothing but this is my family we are talking about.

  • http://PacificDawnblog Kay

Thank you Simon for reading our blogs. It is nice to know that P&O do care what is written by their customers.

  • simon troman

    Hi Jennifer

From a shipboard view point I can only say that at this moment we have not changed the itinerary for next cruise but the corporate side of the operation will monitor the travel advisories closely.

look forward to seeing you next week

    Simon

  • jennifer stevo

Thank You for being so prompt in answering our question Simon see you next week for our fourth fabulous criuse

  • Janelle

    Hi Simon,
I totally agree with your reply to the blog. Unfortunatly some people forget that you guys do a marvellous job in making sure our holiday is awesome and from my past 3 cruise experiences the service has been MAGNIFICENT. Some also tend to forget that nearly every cruise, so that’s everyday of the year, there is 2000 passengers, and wear and tear is going to happen, it happens in our homes and our cars breakdown, such is life. I just got back the other week from cruise W929 and I read some peoples comments on here before I went and was thinking what has happened to this beaut ship, and I never saw one thing wrong that people complained about so I say verbal diarrhea from them, some made it sound like that Dawnie was on her last legs but we had the best time ever and will see you on another cruise! Takecare and thanks for a great trip from yourself and ALL the beaut staff!

  • http://PacificDawnblog Kay

Thats because they have finally fixed the problems. Lucky you, you did not have to experience them.

  • Deb

We have just completed our 1st cruise on Dawn Princess (our 3rd cruise in total – first two with P & O) and cant say enough great things about the crew and the ship. We were an hour late in leaving Sydney as they had just returned from the world cruise, but there was communications galore and a sailaway party as well. The ship is more impressive than what we were expecting, and I would say that 60% of the passengers were over 50, but this didn’t take away from the party atmosphere. It was what we made of the cruise that counted. We had 4 theme nights and a lot of people got involved with these. There was the movie’s under the stars, with a lot of recent release movies being shown. The captain kept everyone informed daily of what was happening, even when we had a delay due to a medical evacuation.
We have already started making enquiries about another cruise for next year, either with Princess or with P & O, as they are both great companies to cruise with. The crew on both were very effecient and friendly and go out of their way to make you feel special.
I found with Princess however, that there is a lot more included in the fare, like the ice cream sundae’s, the balcony grill and the pizzeria. My husband and both my son’s partner and daughters partner, all celebrated their birthdays on board and were given balloons and cards in their cabins, and were sung happy birthday to by the waiters at dinner, and given a birthday cake. It made them feel a little bit more special, and was done at no extra cost to us.
I would definately cruise with Princess again.

  • David

First point – DON’T flush anything down the toilets that hasn’t gone through your body .SIMPLE rule but some brain dead ones just don’t seam to care. One blocked line will cause a complete section to overfill and flood suites. Fact, if this liner the Pacific Dawn is so bad, why do you have to book nearly 1yr in advance to get a room. No need to answer that one.
You get out of a cruise what you put in. We are booked on this ship again sailing Dec. 2010. The kids love it ages 6 and 9 this will be their 3 rd cruise. Can’t beat the cost, all services and food, staff and activities. This is my 15th P & O cruise and have loved everyone ( Best was the old FairStar / Sitmar line ) . Don’t worry about others whinging, have a great holiday. Only approx 389 days to go. CAN’T WAIT. Happy cruising.

  • Wendy

Sound good …. I think I will take your advice haha and thanks xx

  • Wendy

Well I don’t care what anyone thinks I am so looking forward to the Cruise next Easter …… even if it has a few problems we can make our own fun …… cocktails ….. … food ……. more cocktails ……. sleep…. I think my hubby & son will have to worry about me more than a leaky ship ………….

  • Sandee

That’s right Wendy – it’s great to have a positive attitude!
We are cruising around NZ next Feb and no-one is going to put me off. We’ve lived long enough to take the rough with the smooth and enjoy every minute. You never know what’s round the corner.

  • Wendy

That is so true Sandee I hope you have a wonderful time … We cant just stay home there is a big world out there to explore … and as you say take the good with the bad …. and it is going to be all good . Let us know how you go and I will do the same when we return …

  • Ray Pitcher

Hi Guys, having trouble getting on here. What all this boils down to is you are going on holiday so do a couple of small things and it will help. First thing is READ the few instructions that are in your cabin. If you have any doubts ask a crew member. Then take a deep breath and push your party button and enjoy every second of it. My wife and I are booked for the cruise leaving Brisbane 07 August and I can’t wait.

  • Brooke

i think everyone needs to stop whinning! not everything can be controlled 100% of the time, think how many people they have to look after and how much organisation goes into each and every cruise. our cruising experience has been nothing but wonderful and as soon as i can afford to go again i will as cruising is ther best holiday i ever had.

  • David

Sandee, you will love NZ, we did the 3 week trip from Brisbane to Tassi and across to NZ beginning of the year. Just a little warning about NZ tours VERY expensive , eg Wellington tour to the tea garden via cog railway and and another short stop off at another garden site cost approx A$110 each. Family ticket cost 1 family $330. We did the same trip 2Adults 2 Children for less than A$25. You can walk to town a short 15-20min walk. They say you HAVEt o catch a bus to the center of town (Incorrect)which costs $7 each way. Walk its better for you anyhow. Try to organise a couple of people and hire a car, if you have approx 6 people hire an escorted limo service it works out a LOT cheaper that the on ship trips.

  • Sandee

Thanks for those tips, David. We can’t afford to do expensive trips so have thought we would catch the cable railway ourselves at Wellington. Nice to know we don’t need the bus. Planning to walk around Maunganui as I have been to Rotorua as a child and DH is allergic to sulphur! Auckland, friends are showing us around. Napier, bus or walk, same with Dunedin. Akaroa, no ship trips, thinking of boat trip to dolphins or just walk around. Plan to enjoy ship life!

  • http://faq Linda

Thanks for that Marg. Just one other question, do you remember if they charge you a fee to exchange money and if the exchange rates are any good?

  • evelyn

can anyone tell me when we leave sydney do they throw streamers when you leave or is this only in the movies, i cant wait only a few days to go till we leave on nov 15th

  • Janelle

    I 2nd that Brooke!

  • Suzannah

After reading all the negative comments on this page I just felt to share a beautiful quote by Wayne Dyer

“Change the way you look at things and the things you look at change”

I really do feel that negative people attract negative experiences.

  • Sandee

We used to throw streamers here many years ago however, due to pollution etc, it is no longer done.

  • Jen

Yep, we are going on the Pacific Dawn January. Our family plan to do 1 shore tour which is approx. 1 hour then the rest of the day and all other ports we plan to explore ourselves.
We have planned this for 18 months and will have a great time onboard and ashore. Can’t wait. We have not told our children yet that we are going on a Cruise. They are to young and will think it’s tomorrow if we tell them.

  • evelyn

cool thanks for let me know can you start drinking as sooon as you board etc pools or do we have to wait until be sail out

  • evelyn

  • simon troman

    Hi Damo

It is not the busiest place at night but there are some nice restaurants and bars down at Bai de Citron (Limon Bay) and the yacht club next to the ship is quite nice. Often the ship will hold its Island Night deck Party during a late night in Noumea.

  • damo

thanks heaps do u know if p&o have night tours there

  • simon troman

    Hi Damo

The aquarium by night is often offered and also the petit train.

  • damo

awesome thanx heaps for ur help

  • Anita

Yay, got our tickets today for Jan 9th cruise can’t wait. 10 more days of work, then xmas, than a holiday.

  • Rebecca Freeman

I was on the cruise that was delayed (Oct. 13th – 20th). I submitted a claim form for my rebooked airfare, one night in a hotel, and the shuttle from the hotel to the airport. I have not heard anything. How can I follow-up on my claim?

  • http://PacificDawnblog Kay

It all takes time. I sent my claim in 28th sept, for our delay. I heard back with a letter that they had recieved mine and were giving it to the section that handles it. A few weeks later I got a phone call and was given a reference number and they were going to process it. I have not heard anything since. My fathers took 3 months. With all the cancellations lately that puts us further back in the line. They will get to you eventually but it takes time.

  • Rodney

I am saiing in a group of 3 couples from Brissy on 28 Dec, can’t wait. Sailed in 2006 when dinning was set. Now with the new style dining can any recent Dawn passengers advise which resturants were best if they differ at all.

  • Terry Ward

Rebecca,My wife & I was on that cruise also we have put in a claim also but havent heard. It must take awhile by the sounds of it.I feel for those that were in the same boat.People were very annoyed that they only had two phones available.Apart from that we had a great time.

  • http://PacificDawnblog Kay

We were lucky terry as we had 4 phones, one for each airline.

  • damo

just wondering if anybody knows how to book kids into the kids clubs do we need to book days ad times before we get on the ship or is it a first in first served on a daily basis

  • http://PacificDawnblog Kay

When you get on board, go to the kids club with your passport and register them. All you have to do after that is sign them in and out each day as they will have a sign in sheet every day for them.

  • tania

hi looking at going on cruise in april could you please tell me if things on board like beer and cocktails are dear please we are looking at going on the week tropique to cairns thanking you tania

  • damo

  • http://PacificDawnblog Kay

No he should not miss out as all the age groups are there.

  • wendy

    Hi Kay

Do you know how many children they allow in the Shark Shack etc at one time? I know there is a limit and I don’t want my children to miss out. My children would be very dissappointed. Do you suggest registered them as soon as we get on board?

    Thanks
    Wendy

  • http://PacificDawnblog Kay

Yes Wendy do that because we do it also and do not have any problems. Yhe kids club already have their names on the books.

  • Julie McAuley

    HI Rodney,

  • chris

wife an i going on first voyage from brisbane dec 19th when will tickets be issued?

  • Jen

We are also waiting for tickets to arrive. Rang P & O and they said ring who we booked through. The people we booked through said P & O will issue tickets directly to us. So if I ring the people who we booked through, they will ring P & O and ask. What’s the diffenence if I ask or our booking agent.
Tickets should arrive 40 to 60 days prior to sailing.
We should get our tickets soon.
Chris, when you get your tickets read everything. You can usually pre-book shore tours if you like. I will pre-book a shore tour as soon as our tickets arrive.
Last cruise I went on shore tours were sold out quickly. Aqua Hut equiptment was also sold out in a few days. I always take my own snorkle & flippers. You never know if you may need them. They took up to much room in my suitcase so I put them in my carry on beach bag, with my tickets and other important items.

  • chris

wife an i going on first trip from brisbane on the 19th dec is there anybody else from toowoomba QLD going?.

  • http://PacificDawnblog Kay

Recieving tickets can range from 4 to 1 week depending on your travel agent.

  • John Batten

    Hi

  • ANIL

    Hi,
We are first time Cruisers with kids. I just want to know about sea sickness & how to deal with that, if it happens.

  • http://PacificDawnblog Kay

Hi Anil, take a packet of avomine 25mg with you, it is what P&O use. You can get them over the counter at the chemist and they work really well. They come in a packet of 30.

  • Charlie

My wife and i have bookings on the Pacific Dawn for March and November. Ihave just found out that the Pacific Dawn will be having a major refit in 2010. What date is the refit scheduled for.
We deliberately booked the Pacific Dawn and would like to know if that is the ship that we will be sailing on. Kindest regards.Charlie

  • Sandee

I believe the refurb will be in May as there is a week when no cruise is booked.

  • http://PacificDawnblog Kay

Yes the Dawn is going into dry dock next may. Our cabin steward told us last sept.

  • denise

Hi, we are doing sampler cruise Syd-Bne arriving 19 December.
What is the best way to get to city/ car hire depot as we believe Bne harbour far out. We are 2 adults and 2 kids. Are taxis plentiful or is there a coach/bus into the city so we can rent a car.
    Thanks for assistance, regards.

  • http://PacificDawnblog Kay

There should be taxis hanging around, if not get the number from one of the shops nearby and call one. The airport is closer then the city and you can pre book a car from there as they have all the rental companies there. There is only one maybe two in the city.

  • Keith

    Hi,
Try Alpha Car Hire, in Brisbane city.
You can walk from wharf to main road, approx ten minutes and get bus into city.
We will be doing this in April.
    Have fun

  • Leanne

  • Janine Bunkell

We were on the xmas cruise from Brisbane on the 19th Dec and it was the best holiday ever. The ship was wonderful – everything you could want, the staff were lovely and and entertainment crew were wonderful – such fun people. The food was amazing. The cabins were great – I was really amazed on how big and spacious there were with lots of hanging space and lots and lots of drawers. The shower was lovely and hot and I would really recommend paying that bit extra for an outside cabin. We were a little disappointed with the islands but not enough to be unhappy. It really was the best holiday ever and we are hoping to go again.

  • tracey

hi can any body tell us what the entertainment will be on the cruise going on yhe 20th march please (such as hawaian night or any partys on board)

  • tracey

hi is the pool area nice and big as i have been on the pacific sun and it wasnt that big or shaded for that matter

  • http://PacificDawnblog Kay

It is not shaded, also I think it is the same size but one is for kids and the other adults.

  • Lea

    Hi Michelle

I have heard that there have been problems on board Pacific Dawn with the grey water. Did you hear of any problems or experience anything yourselves? Do you know what they are going to do in May when the Pacific Dawn will be out of action for a supposed update?
    Cheers Lea

  • Lea

    Hi Kay

I have heard that there have been problems on board Pacific Dawn with the grey water. Did you hear of any problems or experience anything yourselves? Do you know what they are going to do in May when the Pacific Dawn will be out of action for a supposed update?
    Cheers Lea

  • http://PacificDawnblog Kay

We had problems with the fresh water. It will not disrupt your cruise. It only drips in places but not in the cabins. You will know were they are as they have buckets or floor fans around the areas concerned. Hoping they can get it right in dry dock because in 08 there were no drips but in 09 there was. She needs the dry dock badly.

  • Elizabeth

Anyone booked on Dawn 1st April 2010

  • Karen

Does anyone know why PD is still on Hobart this morning, when we were supposed to sail at 5.30. this morning. Looks like we are not leaving until 12.30 pm

  • Mel

Am looking to book Pacific Dawn cruise and am looking at the different cabin types. Can anyone tell me why some cabins seem so much more expensive than others – eg BE and BD are both outside with balcony and I can’t see a major difference that amounts to the first being almost twice the price of the second? The same goes for cabin types II and I (both outside obstructed) and cabin types P and O (both inside). Has anyone cruised in these cabins that can explain? Thanks

  • Dave

    Hi Mel,

The best cabins to go for are located in midships…
Those cabins situated in “midships” are usually a little more expensive as they are the PRIME cabins to have, being the most stable place on board, the cabins placed forward or aft will experience a small amount of movement (rocking).

The cabins that are double the price that are on the same deck are generally set aside for cruise promotions or competitions that P&O are involved in. so they ususally put close to full price on them which will keep them clear for the competition / promotional winners.

Hope this helps, have done two previous cruises on the DAWN,wherever you choose you’ll absolutely love it.

I am getting excited about my first cruise in June 2010. There are 8 of us females travelling and I’ve found out a married couple I am friends with are also on the same cruise so looking forward to lots of laughs. The main reason I booked was the luxury of not having to be responsible for anyone else and being able to please myself what I do with no obligations for 7 days.
I will buy the sea sickness tablets that Kay ( November) advised, thank you and am relieved that the prices for a drink are reasonable if I wish to have one. I had been led to believe they were through the roof, thanks for all the tips and information from everyone, Denise

  • TONI

Hi just wondering what the themes are for the cruise leaving on sat 6th march please. Toni.

  • Dave

    Hi Toni,

There’s usually 4 main themes for the cruise….
Island , Country & Western , Rock & Roll & of course Cocktail (was originally Formal ), all depends on the length of the cruise, there could also be a pirate theme as well (it ties into their Pirates of the pacific show). You may want to give P&O a call, they may be able to give you a better answer.

  • Lindy

    Yes we are booked :-)
Just under 4 weeks to go.

  • Greg Burns

    Question for any past cruisers.
Can you buy artwork from the on-board gallery for a set price,
    or
must you be the highest bidder at auction ?, Also will $200 get you very far ?
    Working on gift idea………….

  • Katrina

    hi tracey,

we too are cruising on that time, and we were told that the themes are Hawaiian and Pirates and two formal nights. can’t wait now!!

  • Michelle

Hi Greg,When my partner @ I were last on the Dawn we went to the art auctions every day,and yes we bought quite a few pieces, for ourselves. There are times also that you can even carry of the art work of when you disembark, otherwise it gets delivered a few weeks after when you get back home since they all come from America, yes they are insured and in the end if you dislike the artwork you have a time for it to be returned.1’st of all yes you must bid for the art work, and it goes to the highest bidder,2nd of all there are times when there have been silent bids. Our son has even won a few prints and they have been a great reminder of our cruise. To answer how much is the artwork, that depends if the art work is of paint/lithurgy’s.Plus also the artist. My husband bought me an Alexandra Nechita lithurgy and the cost was over $3000.000 which I got for my early 40th birthday present!!!Barry Leighton Jones is also a good artist to look out for.Which we also have.Dont forget that you also have to pay % for the item afterwards. There are some prints that you could buy for around $200.00,you may even could get 2.The art work is scattered around the ship, tell the auctioner that your interested, and there are times that you may even order a print from another P@O cruise ship!!! I enjoy the auctions,so does our son.He even went up and used the gavel to say that the pieces were sold. Our auctioneer was Mario and his wife Monica they were a lovely couple easy and friendly to get along with, very helpful.Enjoy bidding,You might even be invited to invitations only auctions and they are really enjoyable. You get to know the regular bidders also which is helpful.Hope this all helps,I know my next cruise id be buying artwork again.I love it.Have fun.Let us know how you go.Good luck bidding, just remember your limit spending..Enjoy Natalie

Well what a cruise… We are just back from 14 nights on Dawn cruising N.Z. What an unbeleivable place.. if I can recommend a place to cruise go N.Z. We have done 4 cruises ( Sky, Sun, Star and Dawn) and by far this was the best destination. As far as the ship itself okay. We had cabin A155- just below the dance floor- Can hear noise above- But remember your not on a cruise to sit in your room- And by the time you get there your beat and you just sleep anyhow. The food as always was good, they did a seafood buffet when we left Auckland, great concept- pity 2nd grade quality seafood.Dawn is well and truely due for an upgrade- From what some of the crew explained to us sounds pretty amazing- so look forward to seeing the results. As always every thing is well organised the crew are all fantastic and sure we can’t all be pleased all the time but never let something small ruin your whole holiday… It really is what you make it…
Thanks To All On Dawn Karen and Dean

  • Liz

    Hi everyone,
My family and i (8 of us in total) just returned from 7 nights south pacific cruise on March 13th. Some of us were virgin cruisers and others had done many cruises. We all had a wonderful trip. The Dawn has two dining options which was great travelling with kids. The food at either option was fantastic and the service in the Palm Court was great. Every member of crew from Velington our cabin boy to Sandy the entertainment manager, were outstanding. The captain kept everyone well informed about the ship and weather without alarming anyone unnecessarily. We did spend the last 18hours of our trip in 6m swells and 55knot winds but the ship and crew handled it very well. I must say i was glad to be disembarking on that particular day and not boarding but we are already looking forward to our next cruise. Cheers

  • Garry

  • Michelle

    Hi All
We have just returned on March 13th from our first cruise and have finally got our land legs back. Thanks to all for the wonderful time we had and we will definitely book again, I have been suffering withdrawal symptoms having to cook and clean for myself and family again and I won’t even mention trying to get back into the “workplace” headspace. Stay safe y’all!

  • Liz

Totally on the same page Michelle, it took us 3 days to stop rocking. On returning our boys asked saturday night where we were having dinner. I replied at the Kitchen table. Welcome Home!!!!
