Malo e lelei Everyone
I have done many exciting things in my 22 years at sea. I have swam with the dolphins in Mexico, snorkeled with the stingrays in the Grand Cayman and snorkeled with sharks in Moorea.I was lucky to have a few more hours off in port this cruise.
Today’s port of call was Vavu’U in Tonga. I had the opportunity to swim with the humpback whales, which was one of the best things I have ever done. It was a little bit scary at first, but it’s so amazing seeing those big mammals in the water with you.
We stopped in a spot near a mother and her calf and we were able to get in the water and swim with them! You will see from the photos just how beautiful these creatures are.We had a fantastic trip, from the minute we left the ship early morning to our return in the early afternoon.
After our spectacular and exhilarating swim with the whales, we went to a private beach for lunch and then we went to the Swallow caves to have a swim which was also amazing. If you are ever in Tonga check it out, you will never forget it, I am still smiling ear to ear.I will chat to you all soon about our mail drop off in Tin Can Island.
What a fun packed cruise this has been!
Ciao for nowJane

Hi all bloggers, Looks wonderfun swimming with whales. Would like to try this one day.
BLOGGERS Have a look at the ships on P & O website. Click on Dining. They now have sample menus – except childrens menus.
I remember a while back a lady on the blogg was asking about Vegan or Vegetarian food onboard. Have a look at the sample menus, really good read. Lots of Vegetarian food options. I’m not a vegetarian but I will definately have vegetarian meals when I go cruising in January. Can’t wait.

We went and visited the local yatch club and met very nice people.
